The Salzburg College Internship Program is offered in fall, spring and summer and seamlessly integrates academic learning with practical workplace experience. Students enroll in one German language course, “The European Experience” course, one other academic course and actively participate in specialized internship preparatory meetings. During Block B students engage in a 150-hour internship. Prior knowledge of German is NOT a prerequisite.
Internship Focus Areas include:
International Business/Marketing
Communication
Social Studies
Culture, Music and Art
(other areas available upon request)

Salzburg College collaborates closely with qualified students prior to their arrival and during their initial weeks in Salzburg to carefully select internship placements that align with each individual student’s personal, language, and academic requirements.
Students apply for a Student Visa or Student Residence Permit which allows them to complete an unpaid internship legally in Austria. During their time in Salzburg, students complete 12 credit hours.
