Semester Program

The Semester Program at Salzburg College is designed to facilitate students in immersing themselves fully in Austrian culture and the German language. Our mission is to assist students in seamlessly transitioning their lives and education to Central Europe, making them an integral part of the local culture. The Semester Program integrates classroom instruction, field experience, online learning, and independent travel in a harmonious blend. We actively encourage students to incorporate their personal experiences into their academic studies, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning in all our study abroad programs.
To ensure a visa-free entry and stay, the semester dates have been adjusted to span 89 days (approximately 13 weeks). During their time in Salzburg, students typically complete 12-15 credit hours.
